Thanks to his gorgeous conformation and fantastic movements, Formidable was not only approved in Westphalia, but also honoured as 'Pramie' stallion. Formidable not only lives up to his name with his conformation and movements but alsohas a pedigree to dream of. Sire Fidertanz is developing into one fo the greatest sires of Germany and ridden by Portugal's Antonio Do Vale, Fidertanz successfully performs at Grand Prix level. In breeding, Fidertanz meets all the expectations, with already more than 40 approved sons, including the Champion Flanagan, Feedback, Foundation and Franziskus. Additionally, Fidertanz produced several Champions at the Bundeschampionat with his oldest offspring already performing successfully at Prix St. George Level.
Formidable's grandsire De Niro and great-grandsire Weltmeyer have developed into true foundation sires for the breeding of dressage horses. De Niro is indispensible as a sire of famous Grand Prix dressage horses like Desperados, Dablino, D'Agostino, Donnerfee and Glock's Voice.
Formidable's damline also strengthen his genes; dam Descada SL is a 'Staatspramie' mare and produced the approved stallion Belstaff (De Niro x Brentano II), which performs at Prix St. George level. In addition, Granddam Wylie AS is the full sister of Grand Prix dressage stallion Whisper, ridden by Brett Parbery and Jody Hartstone.
DamSire: 00 Seven (Rubenstein 1 - Doruto - Amor)
OO7 was the highest ranked dressage horse ever at the stallion approvals in Holland: Walk 8, Trot 9, Canter 9, General Dressage Score 9. In 2005 his Dressage index was an impressive 204 - at that point the highest index ever in the KWPN studbook. His sire is the well-known dressage stallion Rubinstein I, who has performed at Grand Prix level. Rubinstein I has sired almost 70 approved breeding stallions. OO7 was selected for the performance test at the 1999 KWPN stallion show in Den Bosch. He was described as a "Genetic dressage ace with an appealing type and light-footed movement with much impulsion, self carriage and balance. Unique combination of bloodlines thanks to first rate sires such as Rubinstein I and Doruto, the world's best producer of dressage horses".

Samber is the only coloured stallion ever to be approved by the KWPN, where he gained high scores (including a '10' for character) in his performance test. He is the sire of over 20 Approved stallions, and over a further 20 Approved grandsons. Samber competed Grand Prix level in dressage and at Z level showjumping (equivalent to SJAI 1.30m/1.40m ).
