Pedigree Details

Sire:  Solaris Buenno    (Umenno  -  Ed King Hill  -  Dottore)

Solaris Buenno, is an interesting new addition to the world of warmblood and sport horse breeding.  His sire, the coloured Dutch Warmblood Stallion Umenno has an accomplished performance record to date and his dam, Edwina, a Supreme Champion high scoring 1st premium mare whose progeny have consistently been successful in the county show ring.

Buenno, has inherited the qualities of both sire and dam, elasticity of gaits, a free shoulder and quick active engaging hind leg.  His bloodlines are a combination of both jumping and dressage genes from the worlds leading stud books.  In addition to his proven performance bloodlines, Buenno is Homozygous for the tobiano gene, thus providing breeders with the certainty that his progeny will be coloured with tobiano markings.   Regrettably Buenno suffered an injury as a yearling severing his hind extensor.  It has therefore not been possible to follow a ridden career.   His progeny are well developed, with good top lines and above average muscle development, they are consistently built uphill with beautiful neck set ideal for dressage and showing.  They show an abundance of presence, elevation to their paces with designer coats as a bonus!

His daughter, Solaris Fechinna, won the CHAPS yearling class and went on to take the overall Champion Reserve at the Royal Highland Show 2011 on first outing and has since been sold to France.

Buenno (2006) is one of six full siblings by Umenno out of Edwina: the first premium colt "Amenno (2005) " was the first and only coloured colt foal to stand champion foal at the Royal Highland Show in the Hunter foal class, Chelanno Rass (2007) sold to Top Show Producer Karen Ledger ended his first year under saddle ridden by Hayley Hankey as Champion Ridden Four Year Old Sport Horse and finished the day Overall Champion Reserve out of the four, five and six year olds in the Blue Chip Flat Ridden Sport Horse of the Year at the Sport Horse Breeders (GB) National Championships at Addington 2011.

"Delanna" 2007, awarded a first premium with the SSH and the BEF Futurity evaluations in both the eventing and dressage sections and sold to another top show home.  Her second daughter `Elanna was sold at just a few days of age and the last in the line at present "Solaris Felanno" (2010) winner of the inhand coloured class and overall Coloured Champion at Perth ahead of his dam and all other inhand and ridden entries as a foal.

DamSire:   Kojak    (Pit 1  -  Rex Fritz  -  Rokoko)

The Westphalian show jumper progenitor Pit I belongs without doubt among the best sons in breeding of the legendary hallmarkstallion Pilot (Pilatus x Graphit).  Pit I is himself a full brother of the well-known International show jumper Prinzregent (Norbert Koof).  Both descend from the mare Findra (Fruhlingstraum II x Agent –Aar).  That Pit I hands down his jumping genes to his progeny can be seen in the International Showjumpers Perina (Meredith Michaels), Paloma (Patricia Stovel) and Picadilly (Debby Winkler).  As well as this more than twenty of Pit I’s sons have already been licensed for stud duties, Kojak included.  Kojak was convincing in all jumping sections at his performance test, being marked with a 9 three times and an 8.5.  In 1997 Kojak won the stallion competition and produced the Netherlands Champion Fillies.  The KWPN has already licensed two of Kojak’s sons, namely Paco and Optimist.  His offspring are much desired and excel particularly in the jumping arena.  Kojak’s products are in high demand in show jumping circles and are doing remarkably well in the National and International show jumping ring.  Jan Tops, for example, bought the talented Roletta.  Several of the finalists in the IAN Trophy were Kojak’s products and so was the free jumping Champion of Saasveld.  Orchidee (Judy-Ann Melchior), Olanta (Katie Prudent), Rocky (Alessia Marioni) and Pamira (Eric van der Vleuten) are meanwhile jumping with success at International level.
