Sire: Ol Metta (Flipper D’Elle - Le Plantero - Livarot)
Sire Flipper D’Elle is a real jumping phenomen. The French state stallion was very successful this year with victories in Aachen, Deauville and Gijon ridden by Laurent Goffinet. Ol Metta is bred out of the sporting mare Daphne Paluelle who performed in the jumping sport at 1.40m. level.
Damsire Le Plantero is a three-quarter brother of the successful sporting horse progenitor Le Tot de Semilly. Grandam Rapsodie Paluelle is bred out of the Starter-daughter Godwin as is the International showjumper Pacha des Sevres. Alongside this Rapsodie Paluelle is famous as being the dam of the successful showjumper Chopin withh Anton Martin Bauer. Great grandam Balaika is no less than a full sister of the French ‘Stamping’ stallion Tanael (by Ibrahim). It is interesting to note that the very influential ‘Stamping’ stallions Ibrahim, Furioso xx, Ultimate xx, Plein D’Espoir, Rantzau xx and Nankin are anchored on both sides in the pedigree of Ol Metta via son and daughter.
In his son Ol Metta, we see a lot of qualities of his sire. Ol Metta is taller and has longer lines than Flipper D’Elle and has very modern conformation. Ol Metta was the overall Champion of the stallionshow of St. Lo in September 2005. Especially crossing french bloodlines with german bloodlines proves to be a super combination for breeding International jumpers. With Ol metta we hope to give an other impulse to this success formula. Ol Metta himself is jumping with a lot of quality and scope and he has a very good canter. Ol Metta is alreaday approved for Selle Francais and he meets the KWPN regulations for X-rays. Ol Metta was approved by the KWPN in 2006 and was entered into the studbook with an 8.5 for his canter, a nine for his scope and an 8 for his natural jumping ability.
